Faviell Collection of Ceylon [i.e. Sri Lanka] Railway views, 1867
Collection of albumen prints mounted on cards, mostly by Slinn and Co. (viz W.L.H. Skeen and Co.). Two of these photographs (of the Darporee viaduct) relate to Faviell's years in India and the remainder to the construction and opening of the Colombo-Kandy line.

261x212mm. View of the fern house in the Lal Bagh Gardens to the south-east of the Fort at Bangalore. These gardens, which contained a menagerie as well as a fine collection of tropical and sub-tropical plants, were said to have been laid out in the time of Hyder Ali (1717/22-1782).
