260 x 200 mm. A side view of the viaduct, from below, showing the spidery, metal girder construction. The Mount Lofty ranges prevented the eastward expansion of the railways until 1883 when the southern line reached Nairne by the skilful use of viaducts over the hills.

Many photos do not appear in the exact numerical order given in the listing. The rest of the images are uncaptioned, but their general locations have been identified by reference to the diary RCMS 353/1.

'Summary of the report on the Company's farm lands at 31 December 1879', 21 lithographed manuscript pages with a map. The report describes various plots with a view to housing or mining development within 10, 20, and 50 miles of Adelaide. The map includes circles indicating these distances.
