190 x 140 mm. A view of the partially complete Lands Department, seen from the junction of Bridge Street and Pitt Street. Designed by James Barnet in 1877, by 1888 only the north-west corner was finished. This picture was probably taken around that year, or possibly a year or two earlier.
Departure from Auckland Harbour
Uncaptioned mounted prints, measuring approximately 200 x 80 mm. These three photographs are a series of consecutive pictures showing the departure of two steampowered battleships, dressed overall with flags, from Waitemata Harbour. The precise occasion has not been determined.
