200 x 150 mm. A similar view to Y3082C/3, but a back view of the same car (registration 55) and with the hills behind more extensively cultivated.
A country road, with car, 1910 - 1920
205 x 150 mm. Again a view of similar countryside to Y3082C/2-4, looking down the road and with a back view of the same car, but no sign of cultivation on the hills. The pictures are almost certainly of one area and taken on the same day. A possible location would be somewhere in the Mount Lofty Range of hills outside Adelaide, where the countryside is very like this.

200 x 146 mm. A view showing three Maori women, two of whom are engaged in 'Hongi', or nose-pressing (rather than rubbing). Hands are clasped at the same time. The women are wearing traditional costume, two in cloaks decorated with black cords ('korowai') and one in a woven cloak decorated along the edges.

As in Y3089D/60, the tattooing has been retouched to give it greater clarity. This man’s moko is more elaborate than that of Y3089D/60. As well as the features mentioned there, he had additional spirals on his chin, called paepae, and the curved tiwhana on his forehead turn down towards his eyes and then back towards his ears.
