The second extract records Acting Chief Justice R.J. Walcott's decision of 8 Sept. 1860 in a dispute over rent due to the government for the occupation and use of land by John Lodge.

The final extract concerns Parker's decision in the appeal of David Gentle against a conviction for illegal export of spirits, delivered on 4 Mar. 1881.
