This album contains 114 collodio-chloride prints, mostly amateur work of good quality, approximately 110 x 65 mm in size. In addition to photographs of India, there are eight of Canada (72-79) and seven of England (80-85, 114) dated 1907 and 1909. Invitations for Douglas to become an honorary member of a number of regimental messes have also been inserted.

An album of photographs, mostly stuck in but with 15 loose. Very few are captioned.
1-114, 122-140 show Egypt and the Sudan, 115-121 are of Jeddah and Abu Shaib 1948-49. 122-123 show Khor Arbaat in 1958.

A series of sheets apparently torn from a photograph album, with most stuck on the pages and 8 loose prints, chiefly enlargements of those preceding. Not all are captioned.
1-16 and 92 relate to Egypt and the Sudan, 17-47 to Uganda, including the Owen Falls Dam, built 1949-1952, and the remainder probably of Saudi Arabia.

1-40 are photographs of Cyprus, 41-82, dated between 1948 and 1954, are probably all of Saudi Arabia.

Contains albumen and collodio-chloride prints, mostly captioned, and many by professional photographers. The album is lettered 'H.A.D. 1898-1901' on the cover. The images relate to sporting, theatrical, social and military events. In addition to British India, there are 5 photographs of Egypt (16-20) and 4 of Malta (21-24).

A cardboard and woven fabric album relating to Saigon and Japan, probably acquired by Douglas while on leave in 1907. It contains many postcards, a number of professional photographs, and extracts from guidebooks.

Alexander Chancellor photographs
Photographs of Alexander Richard Chancellor, C.B.E. (1869-1959). He served in the Highland Light Infantry 1893-1895, joined the Colonial Police and was posted to Barbados. In 1902 he accepted an offer to transfer to the Straits Settlements Police, being Chief Police Officer of Malacca from 1903-1905. He became Chief Police Officer of Singapore in 1907, Inspector-General in 1914 and retired in 1922.
