Album 1890-1891, 1890 - 1902
Scope and Contents
Contains albumen and collodio-chloride prints, with dates written under in three groups. 19 relate to a visit to Ceylon via the Suez Canal and Aden 1890-1891 (1-18, 24) and all appear to be professional photographs. It is not known whether these relate to a journey undertaken by Douglas, who was 16 at the time. Secondly, there are 5 professional photographs of Durham (19-23) and finally, 7 photographs of India of a later date (25-31), 3 of which are duplicates of photographs in other albums.
