The majority show the garden, from scenes in April 1967 to seven transparencies making up a panorama taken on the eve of departure in March 1970. In between these are extensive views both of individual clumps of flowers and more general scenes.

Although the title appears to suggest otherwise, Mitchell's Pass is located between what are now called the Witzenberg Mountains and Hex River Mountains just to the west of Ceres. The area known as Warm Bokkeveld is located a few miles NNE of Ceres.

Rogers Collection on East Africa
This collection of photographs relates to Roger's career on the East African mainland and in Zanzibar. Hardly any of the photographs are captioned, but there are some cuttings from the Zanzibar Gazette inserted and from these and from the Gazette itself it has been possible to identify a large number of the subjects with reasonable certainty. Some photographs are by A.C. Gomes and J.B. Coutinho; others are possibly by Rogers himself.
Roi Roza's wedding presents, 1931
A collection of 18 glass slides and 38 photographs. The slides were used by Hogbin to illustrate talks on her work when on furlough (leave of absence), and their captions were provided by her niece. The captions have been used as titles and have been recorded as found.
