Also includes a memorandum of 'Places worth seeing in Mr. Skynner's Tour with my cousin in June 1783', 90 folios. According to a note by John Lee of Hartwell inside the front cover, the writer was Colonel Sir William Lee, and the cousin William Lee Antonie Esq. of Colworth, Bedfordshire. Pp. 89-180 are blank. Inside the front cover: 'Hartwell Library repaired May 1831', in the hand of J. Lee.

Scope and Contents Notebook inscribed ‘Feb. 15th ’45, Holland, Germany, Home, July 28th ‘45’ containing 18 pages of manuscript journal entries for the period 15 February to 28 July 1945.Following a period of leave TJF returned to the Netherlands and Field Surgical Unit No. 33. The journal records the progress of the unit as it followed the allied advance. After 2nd May there are just five very brief entries for the period May to July recording only the place names TJF travelled through on his journey...
