The play was performed at the Cambridge Arts Theatre from 21st to 25th February 1956 by the Cambridge University Greek Play Committee. The performance was acted in the original Greek by members of the University with music specially composed by Peter Tranchell. the play was produced by Alan Ker (Trinity College).
