Scope and Contents

An English translation, with additions, of a portion of the Annals of Zonaras. This is divided into three portions, styled History xvii, xviii, and xix, Of Judith, Of Tobias, and Of the kingdoms of Media and Persia. It is probably translated from Cousin's French Translation. There are corrections throughout in a different hand. this is a portion of Lady Wenman's translation, of which the rest is in Dd.01.18 and Dd.01.19.

The work consists of the family histories and arms of the principal families of the state of Florence. There are eight sheets of foolscap inserted, (not attached) containing the arms of many Italian families, also another sheet containing a Relazione dell' ultima Infirmita e della morte di Luigi xiv Re di Francia. It is dedicated to Ferdinand I., Grand Duke of Tuscany.
