On fo. 8 is 'Hieronymous Grillus scripsit et miniauit'. Inside the front cover is the bookplate of Samuel Sandars.

Henry Elsynge, 'Judicature in Parliament', 81 folios. On folio i v is 'E Libris MSS Geo. Pryme Hospit: Lincol: Westmon. AD 1806'. The entry at front of the volume is to George Pryme, M.A. (1781-1868), the only son of Christopher Pryme of Hull. George attended Trinity College, Cambridge, and was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1803. He was Professor of Political Economy at Cambridge University, 1828-1863.

John Harwood: Autobiography
Autobiographical fragment, covering Harwood's life to October 1689, 95 folios. The writer's identity is not given, but has been established from internal evidence. The writing is on the recto of fos 3-17, with occasional notes or prayers on facing pages and on fo. 92v. The lower half of fo. 16 and the upper half of fo. 16a are torn out. The remainder of the volume is blank.

Opinions of counsel and precedents of wills, conveyancing and pleas. The names of counsel are given. There are genealogical notes and monumental inscriptions on pages 155-62, 191-213, and 252-231 (reversing the volume), which, according to Ralph Griffin (fol. i r), are in the hand of Edward Hasted, the historian of Kent. However, his claim is not readily reconcilable with the dates of the legal material.

12 folios: fo. 1: title-page; fo. 2: declaration by the king that the Cortes has granted him permission to sell rights in the cattle tax; fo. 3: conveyance to de la Fuente of income from cattle tax in the town of Añover, province of Toledo, to take effect from 1 January 1644; fo. 9v: signatures of witnesses.
Precedents for ecclesiastical courts
The volume includes (fo. 135v) 'The True Briton's Answer to a farmer's letter, April 8th 1752', and (fo. 261) a treatise on communion. Recipes and accounts are also scattered throughout.
