Immediate Source of Acquisition
The volume belonged to Robert Constable, serjeant at law, and includes an 18th century entry, 'Mad Susan Laye her book' (fo. 51v). A cutting from a Quaritch catalogue of 1881 has also been pasted into the volume, and has it featured as no. 65. It was probably bought by Samuel Sandars. Bequeated by Sanders to the Library in 1894.
