Subjects include: visit to Canada with Leo Amery, May-Jun 1949, including a stroke suffered by Florence Amery; visit to Israel and Jordan, May-Jun 1950 (see also 4/1/5); lunch with Winston Churchill [Prime Minister], Jul 1952, particularly on European policy; visit to Radio Free Europe in Munich [Germany], Aug 1952; Preston Guild Week [Lancashire], Aug-Sept 1952.

Also includes an exchange of letters on whether JA approved of the Allies switching support from General Draza Mihailovic, leader of the Chetnik resistance, to Marshal Josip Tito, leader of the Partisan resistance, in Yugoslavia [later Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia] during the war.
