Cuttings, mainly from the German press, notes from the German section of the Political Intelligence Department and JWHM's draft articles on the trial for treason of the Russian Minister of War Vladimir Sukhomlinov and Russian mobilisation in 1914. [This relates to source material for "British documents on the Origins of the War, 1898-1914", edited by George Gooch and Harold Temperley: Vol XI, The Outbreak of War, Foreign Office documents, June-Aug 1914, collected and arranged by JWHM, and published in 1926].
