Scope and Contents
Minutes of the Committee for propaganda in enemy countries, on subjects including: propaganda in Austria and Italy; making use of information obtained from German prisoners; the German colonies; the difficulty in obtaining any official statement of policy; declarations from the Peace Conference on the Czechs and Yugoslavs; a general scheme of policy for propaganda in Germany; stating Allied war aims and plans for a League of Nations; the suspension of leaflet drops along the Western Front; propaganda in the Balkans, particularly Bulgaria. Also includes a memorandum on the organisation of the Directorate of Propaganda (German), drafts of a memorandum by H G Wells on war aims and a survey on propaganda methods.
