Scope and Contents This is a ceramic hat stand made in a folk kiln. The painting was done by Yu Ziming at the beginning of summer 1887 (li xia 立夏) at his studio 珠山逸致室 (Pearl Mountain Studio of Relaxation). It depicts three Chinese gods relaxing in a cool place with a palm leaf fan while boiling water using a gourd.
