Scope and Contents The writing set is held in its original box. The lid of the box is inscribed by the donor, and Joseph Needham has written in pencil ‘from Odagiri Mizuho, 16 Nov 74’. It contains a round resin box in imitation of Yamanaka lacquerware, with an image of Shitupo ware (red flowers and green leaves) on the lid.
