Name seal. Li Yuese is Joseph Needham’s Chinese name, one that he used throughout his life, and by which he is best known in China. From Shima Eikoh, 24 August 1971. Made in Japan from Tsuge wood. A note written on a piece of paper states: “Tsuge wood 柘木黃楊木 From Shima (Ma) Eikoh 馬 24 Aug 71".
