The name L.N. Zhong used with friends was Zhong Le’ Nong. His formal name was Chung Hsing-Cheng. His Chinese Mandarin [i.e. pinyin] name was Zhong Xing Zheng [Zhong Xingzheng 鍾興正]. For private correspondence he used the name Zhong Le Nong 鍾樂農 (Zhong Lenong), or L.N. Zhong.
