No date is given, but the sleeve mixes traditional and simplified characters, is certainly not Cultural Revolution period, and an online source gives a date of 1960.
It was presumably bought by Joseph Needham in China in 1964, though a sleeve from the Tsang Fook Piano Co., 19 Queen’s Road, Hong Kong was found stored with it, and into which it fits perfectly, so he may have bought it in Hong Kong.
