The right hand frame, titled ‘To prevent disease, you must exterminate flies early 要防病, 早滅蠅’, depicts practices to prevent their breeding, protect food, and eliminate them by swatting and the use of products such as DTT or 666, or chuchongju 除蟲菊 (Tanacetum cinerariifolium, a natural source of the insecticide pyrethrum).
