Uzbekistan: correspondence and papers concerning Cambridge University collaborations with Uzbekistan, including Memorandum of Understanding between Cambridge University and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialised Education of Uzbekistan and Memorandum of Understanding between Cambridge University and the Tashkent State University of Economics, both 2001; also article by Anne Lonsdale for the Mail on Sunday on a trip to Uzbekistan as 'a guest of the Ministry of Education', in which she discusses the progress of educational reforms and the desire to establish links with Britain and the west [2001];
Afghanistan: correspondence and papers concerning Afghan women entering the Cambridge Colleges Hospitality Scheme, including some correspondence specifically relating to those entering New Hall; also correspondence and papers concerning British Council organisation of an event for them, 26 September 2002;
Chile: Anne Lonsdale's correspondence, as Pro-Vice-Chancellor for External Relations of Cambridge University, chiefly with Viscount Montgomery of Alamein, concerning the possibility of Cambridge scholarships for Chilean students via the Cambridge Foundation.
