In particular, the University section includes many papers relating to the establishment and administration of the Cambridge Colleges Hospitality Scheme for postdoctoral academics from Eastern European countries, a scheme with which Anne Lonsdale was actively involved throughout her period of office as President of New Hall. There are also many papers relating to Anne Lonsdale's work as Pro-Vice-Chancellor for External Relations and to other overseas projects and initiatives, with a particular emphasis in latter years on China.
