Biographical / Historical
Anthony Barnett’s poetical work was collected in two volumes, ‘Poems &’ and ‘Collected Translations’ in 2012. As a publisher (in partnership with Fiona Allardyce) he produced the first collected edition of J. H. Prynne’s work, ‘Poems’ (1982) and Andrew Crozier’s ‘All Where Each Is’ (1985), and he edited the ‘Collected Poems and Translations’ of Veronica Forrest-Thomson (1990). Poets translated by Barnett include Anne-Marie Albiach, Roger Giroux, Tarjei Vesaas and Andrea Zanzotto. Barnett is the publisher and co-editor of the journal ‘Snow lit rev’, and has also published widely on the history of music.
