Comprises typed copies of letters from Charles Darwin and a covering letter from L.J. Jones, 1929. Jones corresponded with Darwin concerning the 1881 work, 'The formation of vegetable mould through the action of worms'; Mary Treat corresponded with Darwin on aspects of insectivorous plants.
