Scope and Contents
The material here largely relates to various poems or verses composed by Erasmus Darwin, Francis Galton's grandfather. The poems have been copied by E. Nilson, whose identity has not been established. There is one letter from Francis Galton to his sister, Elizabeth or 'Bessy', later Bessy Wheler, and two letters from E. Nilson to Elizabeth and Edward Wheler.
