Scope and Contents
Semi-official correspondence between Matheson & Co. Ltd, London, and Jardine British Sales Ltd, Vancouver, with enclosed letters and papers. The ring-binder is divided into two sections:
1) Copies of letters nos 1-9 from W.J. Keswick, London, to C.V. Eckford, Vancouver, 27 April-28 July 1950.
2) Originals (and some copies) of letters JBS/SO nos 1-15 from C.V. Eckford and A.H. Hutchison, Vancouver, to W.J. Keswick, London, 20 May-7 November 1950, and nos 404 (14 August 1950), 451 (8 September 1950), 502 (13 October 1950), 529 (16 November 1950) and unnumbered (14 December 1950) from Hutchison to W.J. Keswick, London, and unnumbered (18 November 1950) from Hutchison to W.E.D. Smith, London.
