Biography

Alfred Herbert Hutchison was employed by Reiss & Co. before working for the Jardine Engineering Corporation Ltd in Hankow, Hong Kong and Shanghai in several spells from 1920. He was in charge of the Corporation's Industrial Supplies Department at Shanghai during the 1930s. He also worked for Jardine, Matheson & Co. (India) Ltd and Jardine British Sales Ltd. He was employed by Matheson & Co. Ltd, 1951-1953.
