Scope and Contents
An index of the investments of the Gresson Estate, recording the name of the company, description of stocks or shares bought, date of purchase, price, total cost, details of stocks and shares sold, and profit and loss incurred. There is also an envelope of papers found loose in the volume: three items of correspondence between Matheson & Co. Ltd, London, and Ticehurst, Wyatt & Co., Cheltenham, 1937-1940; an extract from 'Truth', 7 July 1937, regarding League of Nations loans to Hungary; and various newspaper cuttings.
