Scope and Contents
Correspondence (including some telegrams) of Directors of Matheson & Co. Ltd, with some related letters and papers. The main correspondents are D.G.M. Bernard, Henry Keswick, Sir R.W.B. Jardine, William Keswick, David Landale and L.N. Leefe. The correspondence is comprised of originals and copies of letters to the firm and copies of letters from the Directors.

I21/1/1-9 were part of the initial accessions of Jardine Matheson material; I21/1/10-15 were received from Matheson & Co. Ltd as part of two accessions, 2010 and 2012.

This series was renumbered as part of the reorganisation of I21 that accompanied the accession of new material during the 2nd Jardine Matheson Cataloguing Project (2011-2014).
