Some books were sold before inventory of deceased's goods was made and others (eg. 'English Voyages, Spanish Histories, Perkins His Pilgrimage') omitted, exhibited 20 Jan. 1625/6;

Allegations of John Humbletoft in re Thomas Newman and Elizabeth, his wife, versus John Humbletoft, in injury cause (injurious words): JH, churchwarden of St Michael's parish, has taken down two bells. TN and EN complained. EN said 'you are vexed because you must hang up the bells againe'. JH replied 'I care not a fart for you ... we will have a whippe to kisse your arse';
