Scope and Contents

Moore followed his two older brothers to Dulwich College, as a day boy, early in 1882, and remained until 1892. He progressed quickly up the school, entering the Classical Sixth Form just before his 15th birthday. In his `Autobiography' he writes appreciatively of the teaching he received at Dulwich and of the influence on him of several of the masters, notably W.T. Lendrum and the Headmaster A.H. Gilkes. He maintained his association with the school through membership of the Cambridge Old Alleynian Club.
