The General Board subject file series was established after World War II. The constituent files contained copies of General Board minutes (and those of other central bodies), correspondence and related papers, excerpted by subject, as well as personnel records for academic staff. They include some few records from before 1900 but the bulk date from the 1930s onwards. The paper series was closed in 2018.
