Argyle Street Underbridge, Moss Vale, 1887
Scope and Contents
346 x 242 mm. An interesting view of an iron girder bridge in the process of construction, with winches and wooden scaffolding in position and workmen on the bridge. Beneath the bridge, in the street outside Tattershall's Hotel, passers-by are watching the work in progress. Moss Vale lies on the Southern Line mid-way between Sydney and Goulburn, and was reached by the railway in 1867.
