Scope and Contents

239 x 191 mm. View showing waterfront buildings lining the Careenage at Bridgetown. At the extreme left of the print are the premises of Da Costa and Co., one of the oldest established firms in Barbados. Originally trading as Barrow and Dummett, the business was bought by David Da Costa in 1868. Next to Da Costa and Co. is the Harbourmaster's Office.
