Scope and Contents
157 x 112 mm. Showing Henrietta Georgina Humphrey Malone standing with a group of African children in front of the sanatorium at Kiboriani, a single storey thatched building with a verandah running along its length. A note on the print reads: 'Kiboriani Sanatorium on the Kiboriani Range of mountains in Ugogo - it was built first in 1903 by T.B.R. Westgate, with a grass roof. In 1904 when Wilfred Westgate was born at Kiboriani and was only 10 days old the grass roof took fire and the sanatorium was ruined. It was rebuilt by T.B.R. with a lime and sand roof in 1905'.
