A collection of black and white photographs (some matt, some glossy, various sizes, some duplicates) taken either by Elsie May Weston or Gladys M. Pearce Simmonds, both nurses in Northern Nigeria during the period. Some have been annotated on the front or (chiefly) back, and where this is the case, details have been noted in single quotes. The titles, or additional titles, given to 7-9, 60, 64, 84-85, 88-91, 97-99, 103, 106 and 112 suggest that they were used for educational purposes.
