Brig-General Ewart C.B. and Staff, Cavalry Brigade, 1885
Scope and Contents
205 x 154 mm. A group portrait showing Brigadier General Charles Brisbane Ewart and his staff of four officers, with eight men of the 8th Bengal Cavalry standing behind them holding lances. Ewart was for a short time officer in command of engineering at the base and along the line of communication.
