Showing a group of students laying the cement foundations for a circular stone house under the supervision of the masonry master. The typewritten caption on the reverse reads 'With a view to students improving their farming and home life on leaving school, the construction of new types of compounds and farm building is taught. Some of the young builders at work, supervised by the masonry master (centre)'.
