A file of letters from Dr. Tarnya Cooper and Paul Cox of the National Portrait Gallery to Roger Law, along with computer printouts of his responding letters, regarding the latter's offer to deposit the Spitting Image Archive with the gallery under the Acceptance in Lieu or Cultural Gift schemes. The items present cover the following: the gallery's inability to accept the archive; their willingness to acquire a few Spitting Image portraits for their collection; and the news that the archive has been deposited with Cambridge University Library.
