Province of South Australia land grant, 1875
Scope and Contents
A parchment copy of an original land grant of 1839, including a sketch map of the property. There are two authenticating declarations by W.T. Scott and J.C. Lovely, 1875, and certification by John Warren Bakewell, Notary Public, Adelaide. The grant does not indicate where the property in question was located, other than 'N° 382' in the province of South Australia. The grantees were G.F. Angas of Jeffrey's Square, St Mary Axe, and H. Kingscote of Bank Buildings, both in London, and J.R. Todd of Portland Place, Middlesex.
