Scope and Contents
165 x 120 mm. The caption continues: 'Clove pickers sitting beside a large concrete drying floor ('Sakafu') where the clove buds are spread out to dry in the sun. In good sunny weather this may be achieved in four days. In cloudy or rainy weather it will take longer and the uality may be affected.' Photograph stamped on the reverse (twice) with 'Photograph on loan. Dorien Leigh Ltd.'
