Drying cloves, 1933 - 1948
Scope and Contents
215 x 155 mm. The caption continues: ‘The cloves are spread out thinly on concrete floors or on mats in the sun. Under good weather conditions they are dry in four or five days. They turn from a pink green colour to the familiar dark brown.' Photograph stamped on the reverse with 'On loan' by both Dorien Leigh Ltd.' and also 'The Mansell Collection.'
