A file containing scripts for live comedy specials released on video, by the duo Rob Newman and David Baddiel, and by Rob Newman as a solo artist. These specials were produced and directed by Spitting Image Productions Limited's Joanna Beresford and Steve Bendelack, respectively. The following are present: a camera script and a post-production script for the special, Newman and Baddiel: Live in Pieces at Wembley; and a post-production script for Newman's Dependence Day: The Video - Live at The Royal Festival Hall. Also present is a script for Newman and Baddiel: Live from Civil Hall, Wolverhampton, which appears to be an earlier version of the Live in Pieces at Wembley production.

The Newman and Baddiel comedy videos were an off-shoot of the BBC sketch show, Newman and Baddiel in Pieces. That production was a spin-off from the Spitting Image Productions Limited/BBC series, The Mary Whitehouse Experience. That production began as a radio series, broadcast on BBC Radio 1 in 1989 and 1990, before switching over to a television series, broadcast on BBC 2 between 1990 and 1992.
