Beethoven's Not Dead, 1991 - 1992
Scope and Contents
A box containing production-related paperwork for a classical music comedy show, Beethoven's Not Dead, produced by Spitting Image Productions Limited, and aired on BBC 2, on 20 October 1992. This programme was produced as a pilot for an intended series, but the BBC chose not to proceed any further with the project.
The contents of the box have been split into the following sub-files: contracts and correspondence relating to cast and crew; agreements and correspondence between SIPL and the BBC; production insurance papers; a camera script; a running order; internal BBC communications; copies of letters sent by SIPL; a post-production script and accompanying paperwork; press-clippings with reviews of the show; and miscellaneous documentation.
