Scope and Contents
1. Correspondence, telegrams and notes relating to the Malayan Union of 1946. Writers and recipients include Sir Ibrahim, Sultan of Johor, and other rulers, H. Welham, R.R.J Turner, Lord Marchwood, Sir Arnold Robinson, Sir Richard Winstedt, and Sir Frank Swettenham (circa 100 sheets). A list of the papers is included.
2. Copy of a memorandum prepared by Sir Roland Braddell, legal advisor to the Sultan of Johor, ‘Legal problems in Malaya’ (53 sheets).
