The caption on the reverse reads: 'Ashanti Potters, Gold Coast. All the pottery used for domestic purposes is made by the women and without the aid of the Potter's wheel. Specimens of Ashanti pottery can be seen and purchased in the Gold Coast Building at Wembley'.
