Mine dancing, 1967-10

 File
Reference Code: GBR/0115/RCS/Marnham V

Scope and Contents

This group of Kodachromes shows Africans dancing in what is clearly the same spot. No 6 is marked 'Mine dancing Durban Deep' and no 13 'Tribal dancing at Johannesburg gold mine.' Presumably, despite its name, Durban Deep is in Johannesburg. Nos 11 and 12 are captioned 'Gumboot dance' but the other slides are merely marked 'MD' without further details.
