Scope and Contents
139 x 82 mm (loosely mounted on foolscap paper with notes beneath the photograph). Showing groups of loaded horses moving across flat grassland with hills in the distance. Caption under photograph reads: 'The above photograph shows wool packs on 'trek.' The method adopted to keep the animals from passing each other, which would be extremely dangerous on narrow mountain paths, is to tie a rope, generally made from horse hair, from the tail of one pony to the bottom lip of the pony behind.'
